It is officially 2010 now!!

I got married for the third time. In August Lotta dragged me to the alter... We spent a wonderful week in the island of Tilos in the Greek archipelago. Tilos is a small island with peace, quiet and wondeful people and dining. No night clubs, no loud music, no husslers, no drunk kids or adults for that part. The only thing missing is kayaks.

It's been a long time now. Again!! We enjoyed a great seminar and participated in the Estonian Championship in Paatsalu 12 September. The factory was toured and inspected by all participants. We tried out some of the (8) new models of 2010. This brings the Tahe Marine portfolio to 30 kayak models of very different types. New colors and color schemes. Most exciting was the new Greenland T (Touting) or like Johan Wirsén, the designer named it, Gran Turismo. Well, beautiful boat anyway.

The event was also to celebrate Tahe Kayaks 20 years of operation. We med agents and dealers from many other countries. USA, Canada, UK and Norway among others. Tahe is growing and the fact that the feedback from all these places is all positive is just a nice bonus. You have to love these kayaks!!

The Nuremberg show was the official realease for these new kayaks. Also some new technology presented by Tahe Marine. ABS hull in the Zegul 550 and HD versions of all fibreglss models. HD is Heavy duty. Strengthened all over with Aramide (Kevlar ) keelstrips and Aramide in other places too. Some other strengthening materials added here and there.... It's the Norwegians fault for breaking the standard build kayaks. So if you plan to attempt breaking you kayak, I recommend getting it in an GD version for an extra 500 EUR.

2009 was a good year. We increased sales in Sweden by over 40% and plan a similar increase for 2010.
